As a trauma-informed therapist with over 12 years of experience working with both adolescents and adults, I am dedicated to creating a warm and supportive space and have developed a deep understanding of the complexities of trauma and the various ways it shows up.

Melissa has over 12 years of experience working in mental health. She completed her Master's Degree in Community Counseling from St. Cloud State University and has experience working in diverse settings including, high intensity outpatient, outpatient, and harm reduction settings. Melissa believes in a strengths-based approach and works from a person-centered perspective while incorporating motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral, and trauma-informed techniques. She describes her style of therapy as warm, non-judgmental, and collaborative. Melissa also utilizes a holistic approach to therapy, incorporating the mind and body.
Melissa also offers Immigration Evaluations.
Melissa Cribb is a MN Behavioral Health & Therapy Board Approved Supervisor and can provide supervision for any person working towards licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Her experience includes working with individuals and couples in Intensive Outpatient Programs, Harm Reduction, and Outpatient settings. Melissa is passionate about working with clients with complex trauma and substance use disorders and has specialized addiction and trauma training. Melissa's individual therapy specialities include life transitions, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, SPMI, ADHD, addiction, trauma, and co-occurring disorders. Her approach combines Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic, trauma informed therapy, mindfulness, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and supervision is often experiential including self-of therapist work. The rate for individual supervision is $100 per hour.
